If I was to enquire

Of a solitary blade of grass

As to life

What would it say?

It would tell me nature strives upward

Always reaching

Destined for the light

And despite, that it might be the case

That for that blade

Life only be fleeting

It is discouraged not, in its purpose

Nor journey of growth

For without the story of the blade

One would not experience the lawn
